Overridable Values
Overridable values are properties and settings extracted from APIS Hive configuration content in a Backup Set that the user are allowed to change before running a restore job. Overridable values are loaded per selected Hive instance.
Examples of Overridable values are:
-
References to external Servers
-
References to local file, directory or database resources
-
Internal Server URL address settings
Some Overridable values will be changed automatically during the restore process if restoring in a new environment. The automatically changed Overridable values will show up as changed values in the restore view in APIS Management Studio.
Examples of automatically changed values are:
-
References to APIS install directory
-
Internal hostname or IP address settings
Please refer to APIS Hive and APIS Hive Modules for further documentation.
