Query variables

As described in Model Construction, the Apis framework has great functionality to host information models.

As some of the hosted information models can grow big and complex, finding the relevant information just by browsing can sometimes be difficult and cumbersome.

To alleviate this problem, Apis Management Studio (AMS) provides functionality for querying the information models hosted by the Apis framework.

The query interface is mainly an interface to query variables and related information.

To get started with query, you need to first build a Model Index.

The query interface is available from both the OPC UA and Asset Registry Perspectives.

The query interface is not implemented in the Apis OPC UA server and is not available for OPC UA clients.
