Used to count selected type defined in the module property

The Counter item type has the following properties:

CounterMaxValue

The maximum value of the counter. When the maximum value is reached, the counter is reset to '1'.

CounterType

The type of counter to use:

NewDoc - reports when a new document type received;

ValueChange - counts the changes to a specific element or attribute;

SpecificValueSet - counts specific values received on a given element or attribute.

ItemHandle

The handle of the item - this is the unique ID for the item. This property is often hidden.

Quality

Item quality - this tells you whether an item currently has a good or bad quality. It might be bad, for example, because it isn't connected or is set to the wrong type.

Rights

Item access rights - this property may be "read", or "read write". This means that the property may only be read from, or also can be written to. For OPC items, this written value will be passed on to the external items this item comes from.

Time

The date and time when this item was last updated.

Type

The item canonical data type - the specific type of this item. Whether it's an integer, string, date, etc.

Value

The current value of the item.
