Map Engineering units

Access the service "apis://localhost" from Apis Managment Studio and navigate to the "Engineering Units" node.

Map third party Engineering units to Apis Engineering units

• You may add, edit and remove third party Engineering units.
• Right-click on a Engineering unit namespace node and select "Engineering Unit Mappings".
• In the Engineering Unit Mappings view, right-click on an Engineering unit and click "Select Apis Engineering Unit". Select an Apis Engineering unit from the dialog.
• You may Add Custom Apis Engineering units if needed.

Activate Engineering unit namespace

• In the Engineering Unit Mappings view, click the "Activate" button. The Engineering unit namespace will be activated only if all mappings are valid.

Trigger reload Engineering units

• Go to the "Hive" instance in Apis Management Studio, right-click, and select "Reload Units".

Third party Engineering units must be mapped to Apis Engineering units in order to support unit conversion.

Only activated Engineering unit name-spaces will be loaded by Apis Hive.

Apis Engineering unit mappings are persisted to the file <INSTALLDIR>/CustomEngUnit/CustomEngUnitMap.xml.
