Characteristics of the ApisOPCBee Client module:

• Implements an OPC Data Access 1.01a and 2.05a client.
• Supports both polling and subscriptions when reading data.
• Supports both asynchronous and synchronous writing.
• Automatically re-connects if connection to the OPC Server breaks down (such as temporarily loss of network connections etc.)

Further, as an integrated module in the Apis Hive, the following optional features are available:

• High performance data logging to the Apis Honeystore historian, with OPC Historical Data Access server interface
• Enhances OPC DA 1.01a servers to OPC DA 2.05a servers
• Cross connection between OPC servers, or cross connection between an OPC server and another Apis Access module
• Conventional and Advanced Control with Apis Soft PLC or Apis Advanced Soft Controller
• Access to OPC data, through Apis Process Explorer WEB application, as well as other Apis report generation tools.
