Automatically Modified Config Values

Some configuration values that may need to be modified when restoring a configuration to a different machine, are automatically adjusted during the restore operation:

• Path/file references originating from the default apis configuration directory (or subdirectory thereof) will be modified to be rooted from the new machine's default apis configuration directory if this is different.
• Tcp/Ip addresses referencing (one of) the original machine's tcp/ip address will be modified to reference the new machine's (default) tcp/ip address.
• URLs referencing the tcp/ip address or hostname of the original machine will be modified to refer to the new machine's hostname or tcp/ip address.
• Hostname references addressing the original machine's hostname will be modified to reference the new machine's hostname.
• Databasename / Connectionstring references will get the tcp/ip address and/or hostname replaced.
