Federating Proxy
To configure ApisHive as a federating OpcUa proxy, the following steps must be performed:
1. Add a "Connection manager" module.
2. Add one "OpcUa connection" item for each aggregated OpcUa server. See the topic Configure Connection Manager for further details.
2. Add one "OpcUaProxy" module for each aggregated OpcUa server, and select the Connection item to use for each proxy in the "OpcUa server" property dropdown list. If any "OpcUa cluster" items are added to the Connection Manager, they will also be selectable from this list.
3. For each OpcUaProxy module, add "Namespace" items for each namespace that should be federated. If any of the federated namespaces should be exposed with a different uri in the aggregating server, the propery "Exposed uri" must be specified on the corresponding Namespace item.
The federated namespaces are now visible in the aggregating OpcUa server, and all OpcUa messages received by ApisHive will be forwarded to the relevant aggregated servers.
When Namespace items are deleted, or their "exposed uri" property is modified, ApisHive must be restarted before the old uris are removed from the namespace array of the OpcUa server.
