Synchronize configuration

This section shows how to synchronize configurations for High Availability clusters

Configuration synchronization is performed with use of Apis Backup Agent and Apis Management Studio

Follow the steps bellow to synchronize nodes in a Apis High Availability cluster:

  • How to Backup the configuration master cluster node.
  • How to Import a Backup Set to the configuration slave cluster node.
  • How to Restore the Backup set on the configuration slave cluster node.
  • Change Overridable Values during the restore process. The following Overridable values should be changed for the HAGovernor module:
    • Property ID 1800 - ServerPort: Set to the port that should be used for this cluster node.
    • Property ID 2000 - HiveInstance: Set to value that points to the other Hive instances in the cluster.

There is no need to backup or restore history data during configuration synchronization, as history data will be synchronized by the HAGovernor on startup of the custer node.
